Lost Marbles

Shakespeare asked what was in a name. Like every part of the process jokes will be made. I once worked for a woman named Susan Hadad who opened a cafe named Later Gator, because the sign on her business for months as she perfected it said opening “Later.” She also came up with the most brilliant slogan. “Eat or We Both Starve!”

Susan taught an old chef a lot of new tricks when it comes to pleasing your customers and I was lucky to have had the honor of working for her. I hope to bring her level of dedication as we make a new endevour.

An old picture of the South Philly tradition we aspire to continue.
